Terms and Conditions – Australian Speedshow and Exhibition 2021

General Conditions of Entry

  • Admission price includes shows and attractions except food, merchandise, photo sessions, pay per use facilities (experiences, skill and video games etc).
  • Children 0 – 11 years must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian (minimum 16 years +) at all times.
  • Published times of shows or attractions may vary.
  • The operation of some attractions may be affected by adverse weather conditions or maintenance activity.
  • No food or beverages may be consumed outside of the designated Food & Beverage area. No commercially prepared food or beverages may be brought into the Australian Speedshow.
  • No alcohol or drugs of any type shall be bought on to the event site.
  • No glassware or sharp objects may be bought on to the event site.
  • No animals may be brought onto the event site, except for guide dogs.
  • Frisbees, balls, inflatables or other devices that may jeopardise the safety of others or impede staff are not permitted anywhere in the event site.
  • Scooters, skateboards, bicycles, roller blades or other equipment that may interfere with pedestrian traffic are not permitted anywhere in the event site.
  • Design and systems of Trans Tasman Media Group Pty Ltd (The Company) are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. You must not infringe those rights.
  • Vehicles are parked at your own risk. The Company will not be responsible for loss of, or damage to any vehicle, accessory or contents in, or on any vehicle
    Smoking is permitted in designated areas only, no food or beverage may be consumed in designated smoking areas under Queensland Law.
  • Your possessions, devices and other materials you bring with you onto the event site are your own responsibility. Trans Tasman Media Group Pty Ltd and Australian Speedshow and Exhibition staff are not responsible in any way for your personal items. If you do misplace personal items, please report them as lost as soon as possible so that if they are found they can be returned to you.
  • The Company reserves the right to refuse entry or remove guests from the attraction for vandalism, stealing, offensive behaviour, queue line jumping, failure to properly supervise persons under your care, failure to follow safety instructions or failure to comply with these Conditions of Entry.
  • The Company reserves the right to inspect your bags at any time for security purposes.
  • Any photographs, videos or sound recordings taken by you at Australian Speedshow and Exhibition must be for personal use only. Any use, reuse or production for commercial purposes without our express written consent is strictly prohibited.
  • The Company reserves the right to photograph guests at any time for security purposes or for use in connection with the promotional activities and general commercial operations of the Company. You expressly agree to the use of your image and likeness for these purposes without compensation.
  • The use of image recording devices is not permitted in any change room or bathroom facility.
  • Please report any incidents to security immediately.
  • Tickets, vouchers and passes must be original, display your name and be presented on the appropriate date, Photo ID and matching signatures may be required on request. Fraudulent use will be referred to police.
  • Please be advised that appropriate clothing must be worn at all times.
  • To ensure a safe and enjoyable family environment, provocative clothing, going shirtless or wearing only swimwear is not allowed.
  • Guests may not display anything that contains obscene, foul, profane, illegal or unacceptable language, photos, images, symbols, or phrases, etc.
  • If your clothing or swimwear does not comply with these regulations, appropriate attire is available for purchase at the Australian Speedshow and Exhibition Merchandise Booth. Otherwise you will be required to leave the event immediately.

Height and Health Advice

  • For your safety and comfort there are height, weight and age restrictions on some rides and attractions. Please refer to the event map and displayed signage for specific details.
  • Riders must be in good health and free from any potentially adverse medical conditions. You should seek medical advice if uncertain. For Guests with disabilities please assure they are accompanied by a competent person at all times.
  • For safety reasons, pregnant women, guests with certain pre-existing health issues, guests with casts, footwear, eyewear or any hard or sharp objects may be restricted on certain rides and attractions. Please read signage and ask staff prior to participating if unsure.
  • Further specific restrictions may be displayed throughout the park via signage announcements and or staff communication, you must obey these.
  • We recommend that appropriate footwear be worn within the park at all times.
  • Appropriate clothing must be worn at all times.
  • Children should be toileted regularly whilst attending the event. Appropriate toilet facilities are available throughout the event site. Anyone found to be relieving themselves elsewhere will be directed to remove themselves from the event site immediately.
  • Children under the age of 5 must be with a competent adult or guardian 16 years or older at all times while on the event site.
  • Australian Speedshow and Exhibition security and staff cannot supervise children. Parents/ guardians must actively supervise their children at all times and comply with the Keep Watch guidelines posted in the official event programme.

Responsibility

  • There are inherent risks in the participation in or on an attraction or ride, vehicle, device, or the interaction with animals. You, by your purchase of a ticket, accept the inherent risks of which a prudent person is or should be aware. You should consider this participation an exercise in good judgement and act in a responsible manner while attending the Australian Speedshow and Exhibition.
  • Adults / carers are responsible for persons under their supervision.
  • You must not participate in or on any ride, simulation, device, and attraction, when under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • You must act with good judgement and consideration, both for yourself and others, and refrain from behaviour which could affect your safety, the safety of others, the safety of the amusement ride, waterslide, device, attraction, or the safety of the animals.
  • You must obey all reasonable written and verbal instructions and warnings, given by The Company and its security staff including the Arena Marshals and Operations Team, operators of any amusement ride, simulator, device, attraction or animal handlers, without objection.
  • You must use, as instructed, all safety equipment provided when participating in any amusement ride, simulation, device or attraction.
  • If you supply your own safety equipment you do so at your own risk and accept full responsibility for any failure or non-performance of such equipment.
  • You are responsible for your own personal property, both inside the event site perimeter and in the parking areas, public transport areas, et al.
  • The Company takes all reasonable steps to provide you with a safe and enjoyable event experience. However The Company will not be liable for any person in respect of the loss of life or personal injury to, any person, whether that loss, damage or personal injury is caused by any person’s negligence (including the negligence of The Company) or otherwise.
  • In these Conditions of Entry, The Company includes the owner and operator of Australian Speedshow and Exhibition and all employed staff and volunteers.
  • By purchasing tickets to the Australian Speedshow and Exhition, you agree with all of these terms and conditions, and will take appropriate action to ensure those under your care abide by these terms and conditions at all times while on the event site.

Admission Products

All Tickets

  • Tickets are valid from the date of purchase to close of business on the ticket date as stated on the ticket itself. All tickets are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. Tickets cannot be on-sold to another party for re-sale.
  • Government issued pension card must be provided on entry.
  • After completing your purchase you will gain access to an online page confirming your order. You will also receive an email including your invoice and your E-tickets. Please print your E-ticket and present, as per instructions on the ticket. Alternatively your E-ticket may be presented on a mobile device.
  • Entry is granted by presenting, a printed E-ticket or displayed on a mobile device. The Company reserves the right to request a valid photo ID if required.
    Trans Tasman Media Group Pty Ltd and Australian Speedshow and Exhibition reserve the right to close rides and attractions as required.
  • Unless expressly stated to the contrary tickets do not include access to special events conducted outside of advertised event trading hours including, but not limited to Pre-Event Networking Event and Awards Dinner.
  • Does not include experiences and attractions that are not included in entry price.
  • Australian Speedshow and Exhibition visitor numbers are capped to prevent overcrowding. Entry is on a first come, first served basis. When the event site reaches capacity we cannot permit further entries.

1-Day Tickets

  • Ticket includes 1 Day Entry into Australian Speedshow and Exhibition, on the same day.
  • Tickets are valid from date of purchase to close of business on the date printed on the ticket.
  • All tickets are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash.
  • Lost or stolen passes cannot be replaced. However digital tickets can be displayed on a mobile device screen for entry into the Australian Speedshow and Exhibition.
  • Tickets cannot be on-sold to another party or third party for re-sale to customers.

2-Day Tickets

  • A 2-Day ticket entitles the bearer to one entry per day to Australain Speedshow and Exhibition for a period of 2 consecutive days that the event is being held.
  • Tickets are valid from date of purchase to 4pm on Sunday 23 May, 2021.
  • Australian Speedshow and Exhibition Bar is an over 18 years venue throughout Saturday 22 September and Sunday 23 September, 2021.
  • All tickets are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash.
  • Tickets cannot be on-sold to another party or third party for re-sale to customers.
  • Lost or stolen passes cannot be replaced. However digital tickets can be displayed on a mobile device screen for entry into the Australian Speedshow and Exhibition.
  • Each 2-day ticket must be stamped by gate security for pass-out and a valid ID presented for each return entry.
